About Me:
After losing my Mom in June of 2020, I recalled our conversations about her career and the things she regretted. I decided it was time for a change and I started conducting research. That’s when I stumbled upon UX design.
Early in the training course, I learned that I would rarely get to see a finished product. “There will be tons of working and re-working the same idea over and over again until you work all of the kinks out.” At first, that sounded dreadful to me! No completed tasks… repeating the same thing over and over? No way! That idea lasted about 15 seconds. But then I realized, I do that all the time! I’m a list maker—pens, paper, and definitely markers. After crossing off a few items, I like to rewrite the list so it looks neat and organized. That’s just how I operate.
This realization helped me to grasp the idea that mistakes make me stronger. I improve when I keep trying. Failure IS an option as long as it’s not the end goal. So, this is me. It’s nice to meet you!
